Many loved my new summer range which had gorgeous flipflop charms, shells and starfish.  These were on the matching lariats and bracelets and sold like hot cakes!

It was a highly organised event with stalls clearly laid out and parking spaces allocated for stall holders!  Always makes life a lot easier!  There were many stalls and events outside as well as a wide range of stalls inside – such as pashminas, handmade soap, chutneys and a very interesting one selling beads made out of paper by the people of Uganda to raise funds (Seeds for Beads).  These were transformed into lovely necklaces and bracelets.  There was a fantastic atmosphere too – Surrey Youth Orchestra played at the front of the Cathedral which was just lovely and then there were about 15 little children from local junior schools singing about 5 of the favourite songs! Gorgeous! To cap it all, at the end, a mad ukele player in dark glasses was singing his heart out!  A GREAT fair and a GREAT day out! One to look out for next year!

It’s also a real fun, social event.  Last week, for instance, at the Cobham branch I met a lovely photographer called Vicky.  Have a look at her website on www.victoriab.co.uk.  This week I came across a magician (keep hold of your watches) called Ian Gray who offers magical events for weddings, corporate events, special occasions and parties…great fun! He’s viewable at www.magician.uk.net.  Also this week at Epsom I met a lovely artist called Lee Campbell who does commissions as well as professional development activities.  Her website is www.leecampbell.co.uk.  It’s worth taking a look and she’s always very happy to offer advice.
