A lady approached me who’d seen my designs in a local boutique to request one according to her own specifications – she wanted it light, white and sparkly… so here’s the finished product! I also created a matching bracelet to finish the “look”! On a sunny day the wearer will shimmer in the rays!
Just wanted to let you know about a really enjoyable, not to mention highly successful event at Guildford Cathedral which I was selling at on Saturday.
Many loved my new summer range which had gorgeous flipflop charms, shells and starfish. These were on the matching lariats and bracelets and sold like hot cakes!
It was a highly organised event with stalls clearly laid out and parking spaces allocated for stall holders! Always makes life a lot easier! There were many stalls and events outside as well as a wide range of stalls inside – such as pashminas, handmade soap, chutneys and a very interesting one selling beads made out of paper by the people of Uganda to raise funds (Seeds for Beads). These were transformed into lovely necklaces and bracelets. There was a fantastic atmosphere too – Surrey Youth Orchestra played at the front of the Cathedral which was just lovely and then there were about 15 little children from local junior schools singing about 5 of the favourite songs! Gorgeous! To cap it all, at the end, a mad ukele player in dark glasses was singing his heart out! A GREAT fair and a GREAT day out! One to look out for next year!
